Unfortunately without the MFI Certification, I wouldn't touch them. Mainly because of an Apple update, which can stop the the Apple device from charging if not certified.
Its a shame because they look good quality, and a great price.
I won't vote either way.

even if it does not work when apple decide to stop it, the cables should still charge the phone when it is turned off. the mfi certification is software on the phone. in my view worth it for a charger lead that hopefully won't disintegrate as fast as a genuine one. good point though and something for people to be aware of.

Thank you.heat added . kids go through leads so quick
I agree, it will charge the phone when switched off. My phone becomes my bedside clock and alarm at night. So I need to be able to charge it whilst it switched on.
However I guess it's worth a try. As Amazon has a good returns policy. So there shouldn't be a problem if the don't work with your phone,

Poundland sell a very decent 2m cable for, wait for it, £1. Doesn't throw up any warning messages, and charges as quick as any other cable. If and when Apple flag it, I'll bin it and move on.

Not sure if the MFI really makes much difference. I've had about 3 supposedly good quality braided Anker cables all just stop working properly after a while. They just stop charging and you have to keep replugging the phone in until it works. Replacements are ok, but again stop working properly after a while. Will just have to go back to Apple ones which is a shame because those are a bit thin and easily broken.

I agree with the anker ones, great quality but stop working within a month or so. Yet to find one as long and as good quality. If you find one let me know
