Highly doubt this is 320gb storage - that's not really the Chromebook approach. 16gb - 32gb likely.

Yeah, as you mention above it is correct, this is the C710 model. It was an odd choice and one of their first Chromebooks. I really couldn't recommend going for this. Go for a C720 or similar instead.

Oops. My mistake. Turns out it's one of the few models with a large HDD.

Does anyone know...
- the resolution of the screen
- if the memory can be ugraded
- if you can install another OS (Windows or Linux) on it

The 710 is pretty grim as it's basically a Windows machine that they cannibalised in their first attempt to make a Chromebook.
Much better to stump another £20 and see if you can track down a 720 which (despite the similar model number) is a different external and internal design from the ground up. Makes the world of difference in terms of performance over this as the 720 has the Haswell CPU architecture, dual core CPU, SSD, m.2 SATA, USB3.0 etc. The 720 also runs alot cooler than the 710, has a better screen, better keyboard, better ergonomics, much longer battery life etc.

I know its not going to win any prizes in the most powerful computer category but perfect for a mobile, light, easy to use chromebook.
