Since switching over to stay-charge rechargables I haven't looked back. Do these leak as badly as the old Procells?

Never had an issue with them leaking just make sure you buy from reputable source as oddly batteries like razor blades are one of the most faked item on eBay.

Nope, you're right. The old red/black ones? I went to use something the other day with them in and they'd leaked everywhere :disappointed:
I've had a torch and remote go on me as well! *Touch wood*, these new ones have been fine.
Heat OP but there are always deals around to be had on eBay, you just need to decide on how many/how much you want to save.

I bought these from a seller on Amazon, they didn't work although they were in date .

There are many other options available instore - ikea's alkalisk are by far the best value at 10 for £1.50 and b+m have 32 Philips for £6.
