Seems like a good deal for a Google chromebook from Amazon. Used very good. item still in original packaging. I have ordered these before and they have arrived brand new sealed. ordering from Amazon gives you peace of mind and makes returns easy.

Great find OP.
i was mulling over buying a macbook last night ( got as far as ordering, but then cancelled) as i need something fast for the internet and doing my online language course. Saw this and read the reviews, incredible battery life and quite light. Ordered.

Chromebooks are really good.
If you want to convert it to a cheap laptop, install GalliumOS or CubOS. Both great Operating Systems to install to give a more desktop experience.

Can an old widows laptop be converted to Chrome or Linux as these OS requires less resources.

can you install office 365 using this?, can you save documents etc...to the HD or USB stick?
I've never had any interaction with a chromebook experience and my wife would like a cheap laptop for usual day to day tasks and office related documentation.

You can use Google Docs, or the browser based Office 365 suite. You can't actually install them, but as long as you have internet they will be available to use.
