Wilkinsons have their own tough grass seed and rapid grass seed 1kg box was £7 now £3.50. Have used it and can recommend!

Grow you own lawn, it's amazing, well for me it was. I sowed the seed, nature grew the seed, but I didn't eat it as I had a fantastic lawn, the lawn is on its 6th year now and gets better every year.
Wilkos cheap grass seed and fertiliser is pretty decent for the cash - hot from me

Not to fond of rapid grow grass seed. I found that it requires more work with grass cutting.

I bought 4 boxes of this and 6 bags of their topsoil. I applied everything a couple of weeks ago and the lawn now looks amazing. the grass germinates quickly and is very hardwaeing already. H.O.T.!
