I played this briefly at my mates and couldn't get into it. I wasn't really into RPG's but recently I got Fallout 4 and loved it. Should I give this another go?

Give it another go. Stick with it as well as its one of the best RPGs out there.. Maybe even better than Skyrim.

I'd say yes; simply because it took me about 2-3 hours to properly get into it. Once I did, I found it was an incredible game. Obviously won't be for everyone though.

Nothing strong about it lol Skyrim was poor it was a large open lifeless world.
Witcher 3 beats it to a pulp and feels alive wherever you go and the side quests are a joy to do.
Elder Scrolls has got worse since Morrowind.

Whilst i do think TW3 is by far the better game on consoles, I wouldn't go as far and say Skyrim was poor. The thing about TES games, it really does depend on the system you're playing them on. Oblivion out the box is/was a very dull game. However, on the PC with mods it's unrecognisable. The same holds true with Skyrim and on the PC, I think Skyrim is the better game. The scope to tailor Skyrim is endless, whilst TW3 you've basically only got what you get straight from the box. Bethesda games give us an open world and a blank canvas of sorts
TES games you can make **** up for 100's of hours and still not touch the main quest, in TW3, the game eventually forces you to progress. I hate saying it, yet the truth is, both games offer something different. If anyone needs to up their game, it's BioWare. They rely on story and now it seems, open worlds, but never managed to nail neither the story or world in DA:I.
Saying that, both games aren't mutually exclusive and as such I enjoy TES games and Witcher games. Sucks when people think you've got to hate on one to enjoy the other.

I am the opposite to you. I couldn't get into fallout 4. I tried but I just didn't like it. This is amazing once you push through with it. But it's such a big game, it can be too good in some respects. I just wished I had the time to play it more. But the other half wouldn't approve and I'd be in the dog house again
