You should be able to get a copy on GoG even if you buy from elsewhere like Steam. I did, but I prefer to run it off Steam. Although I do support GoG it's just easier.
bought from there, just be careful to get EU version, it says in the listing.
but game is poor. clearly made for consoles, play areas are small and arena-like, you kill a certain amount of enemies to oped the next door to next arena, a lot of timed-action key pressing, poor invenory management. gameplay felt so annoying i couldnt make it very far, and rpg is my favorite genre. experience for me was simply painful.
unless you buy it to build a collection, stick with 1 and 3.

Are the first 2 as good as Witcher 3?
I had not heard of it until then. /console gamer

your machine exceeds the minimum specs so yes it should run fine in theory, you get a money back guarantee with steam anyway so if it doesn't work properly or your unhappy in anyway and as long as you have played it for less than 2 hours you can request a refund and it will be granted.

They are not as good. The game has evolved a lot from one installment to another. I finished them all and quite enjoyed them but am aware of the flaws of w1 and w2.

I run this with a 7950 and an Ivy i5 and it's fine.

I loved playing witcher 2 before 3. It was one of hose games I bought on a whim and never played until trailers for wild hunt.
However once I started and got a couple hours in I was hooked. It is one of the games that you look forward to playing when you get home and find yourself struggling to step away from.
