Refreshingly good deal here for summer glasses, perfect for BBQ season. All this hot deal searching can be thirsty work so these are perfect for you to enjoy ice cold beverages in!
I ordered a hoto chocolate in a cafe on Saturday and it came in one of these - it was a not nice drinking experience. I felt as if I had been served coffee in a jam jar. It just wrecked the whole experience.
These just do not look or feel right to be drinking out of. Frankly, I think an old jam jar would feel better.

Thank you for your thoughts, I guess it's personal preference, don't really think these are meant to be used to serve hot chocolate or coffee in (not sure which one you had) I think they are more for the cold beverages so I think the establishment where you were served this in should revisit their glassware selection processes.

Yep, poor choice by them and I came close to writing something on tripadvisor about it. Naff.
But, generally, I doubt any drink out of them would be a good experience.
They are a big, square awkward piece of heavy glass. They do not sit at all well in the hand. Using the handle just does not feel right or relaxing.
When you raise the glass to your mouth you feel the topside of the rim touching your nose - I do not have a big nose  - and once the liquid gets down to below half in it you have to tip your head back in order to get the drink out.
So, if you can put up with all of that as a 'relaxing' drinking experience then go for it.

My daughter has these. Her friends love drinking out of them when they come around.
I thought these were meant to be used with the straw for cold drinks? That's how we always use them, and agree with the previous poster, the kids live them......... & good for summer cocktails

Thinking the same too. My kids love it. Actually its better to be used as a means of drinking cold beverages. Try not to use by hot coffee as it is intended for summer purpose. Surely, you'll love it so much!
