It's possible to get the WD for £95 and it doesn't have SMR, is quieter and less likely to fail.

Yes please. I don't want to buy another Seagate after my last external failed just barely over the warranty.
You need to get a 20% coupon for the WD store to get it at that price: WD Elements 5TB: £ 119.00 incl. VAT - 20% = £95.20 The coupon comes by email 5 days after a purchase so have a look and see if there is something very cheap you could buy.
