Pain in the Harris this model, the blu-ray drive lasts a few months... when sent away for a replacement (took a month - 6 weeks) it came back working and with a 2 month guarantee on that part.... after 2 months it failed again.... after a hell of a lot of messing around I finally managed to get a refund.... Generally though if you want decent 3D surround sound then this is great but that is it... the rest is pretty much pants.

At the time it was well documented online with that problem, It's an old model now and has been replaced model wise, some years now. Main problem is if you get any kind of problem and you get it repaired by a Samsung sub contracted outlet, they will only replace the faulty part with a short warranty replacement part... and even that can take around a month from collection. I still use Samsung gear though, no problems with anything else, just that 5.1 system.

I could be wrong but I think this has only been out around a year.
The "J" range seems to be the 2015 range, maybes you had a slightly different model, as you quote it's been replaced some years now?

Oh wow this actually supports Dolby True HD and DTS HD along with what appears to be a chibi version of webos (yeah I know thats LG). Good deal if you can get it for that price.
