Needed a new washing machine as my old one was written off by samsung and i am waiting to recieve a refund.

5 years guarentee parts and labour from samsung if you register your appliance online as far as i know.
cheapest i could find and i have some argos vouchers to spend.

Mine developed a fault after 13 months, Samsung were useless with no approved repairers in The Edinburgh area. They escalated report but said it could take 2 weeks to investigate meanwhile I had no washing machine. I complained to AO.com who I bought machine from stating that i bought the machine due to the 10 year guarantee on the motor but it was basically useless if they had no repairers. They called Samsung who confirmed my story and called me back within 30 minutes to offer me a new appliance. Highly recommend AO.com but I chose another manufacturer. No point having a Samsung if you have trouble getting repairs. Maybe I was just unlucky but be aware.

Yes - it has a 10 year warranty on the motor.
If it says the 5 year warranty on the whole machine I had to phone up to register it to get this as there was nothing in the paperwork or online (registration number for Samsung in the "gumf" you get with the machine).
Love ours and a lot quiter than our 15 year old Bosch (even when it was new).

I think that is a 2 year warrenty with argos if im not mistaken where as the 5 years parts and labour is with samsung.
