All bleach is made by the same industrial process (chlor-alkali) and all bleaches have the same active components. Only difference that you are paying form is the brand name and maybe some perfume that they put in there.

The general material for household use is 5% and is used direct from the electrolytic cell (electrolysis of salt solution). They then add the thickeners/perfumes.
For industrial processes, you can get up to 13-14% but this is expensive and pretty unstable so has to be stored cold (about £35/2.5 litres).
I use a lot of cyanide and destroy residues with the thin bleach (Tesco 29p/2 litres rather than £30/5 litres from a lab supplier!)

I got this 2 weeks ago @ 50p, a dozen bottles, because I have bought it for higher , and then this week they reduced it to 40p
