Highly adaptable, the Safety 1st wall fix extending metal gate is designed to fit openings between 62 and 102cm wide. The gate features a child-proof tilt and lift mechanism that's tricky for children to open yet offers a parent-friendly, one-hand opening for your convenience. Once opened, a wide walk-through area is created with no step-over bar, making it suitable for doorways and staircases.
The Safety 1st wall fix extending metal gate requires drilling and needs to be directly fixed to the wall. Thanks to its extending panels, it is easy to install, with no extensions needed.

Might help if you don't have delivery saver but if you've a toy on your basket worth £10+, you'll get free delivery. If you're paying £2 anyway you might think its worth it.

This is nothing! My 2 year old does pole vaulting using the mop :stuck_out_tongue:

Bought one from Argos a couple of months ago at twice the price.
Great bit of kit for keeping the dogs out of the kitchen when cooking.

It doesn't show how the gate opens in the pics.

I just want a push open. I've got tiny dogs and a baby following me everywhere.

This one here is ideal for top/bottom of stairs because theres no step-over bar.

Oh i get it now! Lol
I've got a horrid staircase with a handrail. My gate is at the top but the bottom bar is waiting to kill me. The bottom of the stairs is difficult because the last step comes out further. I think this one will solve my problem

We got there
You can also buy gates for protruding stairs/steps. The brackets fix on at an angle like this..

That's my bottom step but I've got wall at the side. I've always kicked the corner of the stepladder with my ankle.
That set up looks mad but it's got to be done lol
