I too was concerned about the Aspartame so I switched my kids squash from Robinson's to squash with real sugar in. The result was, the sugar sent them totally hyper! So I've switched back to Robinson's for now! :disappointed:

There's no reason to be concerned about aspartame. For some reason there is a lot of misinformation and scaremongering articles online.
Also sugar and hyperactivity is somewhat of a myth too but I can't vouch for your kids on that one. :smiley:

Sugar and hyperactivity is indeed a myth....the uptake of sugars from the blood can not be speeded up, increased ingestion has no discernable effect on brain activity.

Actually if they are eating / drinking lots of extra sugar you'd presumably want them to be a bit hyperactive so they don't pile on the pounds. :-)
