The amount of remasters this gen has got is beyond a joke. What's next for the PS4K and Upgrade Xbox One? Current games remastered to 2K/4K? Pathetic. Last gen had amazing line up of games this gen the quality lacks.

I am want to not want this. People say about remakes - if people didn't buy them they wouldn't make them... but I don't want them to make them yet I still find myself buying them - Im sick of remakes yet they still appeal.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment confirmed today that Batman: Return to Arkham, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, will launch July 26 for $49.99. The bundle remasters Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City for the current console generation.
The games will be remastered using the Unreal Engine 4, according to a press release from the studio. The remastered versions will give players the chance to play the first two Batman titles in the Arkham series, including both Game of the Year editions, and access to all additional downloadable content.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment said that Batman: Return to Arkham will also include improved graphics, along with upgraded models and environments. Players will also notice an improvement in the game's lighting, effects and shaders.
Batman: Arkham Asylum, originally developed by Rocksteady Studios in 2009, took place in the iconic insane asylum that played home to some of DC Comic's most notorious villains, including the Joker and Harley Quinn. Batman: Arkham City, the studio's sequel to the game, was released in 2011 and took the villains outside the walls of the asylum, bringing mayhem to the streets of Gotham.
Batman: Return to Arkham will be available to play on the PS4 and Xbox One July 26.

I'm a fan of them. I think of them as "This is the way I should have played them originally". Also as a trophy hunter, majority of them are easy trophies as well (if you are in to that). Granted though, some remakes/remasters/ports are absolutely terrible though (re-released Prototype Bundle)

It's the fact most of them I still have on the PS3 and most were freebies on ps+ yet I still consider spending another £30+ on them! Ha - madness

Check out some of the comparison shots - in some cases the game looks worse - before committing on launch day IMO. Excited to play them again though!

Just wait a while and buy them second hand so the devs make no money from their cash grab.
