Escape to the Gwaun Valley in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, West Wales
The local area is known for its dramatic coastline, varied wildlife and some of the best beaches in Wales

I've lived in Pembrokeshire off and on for 30+ years. Great location. Great outdoors. Just beware if you need a regular mobile signal or data signal, your unlikely to get it. 2G is very much the norm in these parts. If that don't bother you, FILL YOUR BOOTS.

Don't go there, it's horrible!
(Just trying to scare everyone away to keep Pembrokeshire my personal secret place. Against my better judgement, voted hot!)

Don't forget to pop up to the Gwaun Valley Brewery for a lovely pint or two of Real Ale. They also have a stunning holiday cottage at a very reasonable price http://www.gwaunvalleybrewery.co.uk/brewerycottage.html and their campsite has stunning views of the Preseli Hills and only £8 per pitch!!

Loads of great walks in the Gwaun Valley (very pretty with bluebells at the moment), Pembrokeshire coast path walks, stunning beaches (fave is Barafundle), Coasteering at Abereiddi, Kayaking with Mike Mayberry and there's music at the Gwaun Valley Brewery every Saturday too
