Guessing this will be a Vestel rebadged, but still cheap for a 24" TV.

Any good to use as a main monitor but to be able to double back as a TV?

It'll work but won't give you the same performance as a decent dedicated PC monitor I suspect.

I think the thing here is to forget it's a Panasonic and compare it to an unbranded TV of the same size - it's still a very good price. It's a shame Panasonic have gone down the Vestel-rebadged route, but so many others have so it's not surprising. Wiki lists the brands who rebadged Vestel as their own borrow spec tvs.
We have a 32" Toshiba which is a Vestel and it's a good TV in HD, not so good in SD, but we have had it for about three years, light use, with no issues.

Panasonic (like SHARP,Sanyo,Toshiba,Hitachi) betrayed all it's consumers by renting out it's brand name to be used by rubbish Vestel.shame on them.I'll never buy their Tvs again,Vestel or real.they've lost the TV tech game to Samsung and even LG anyways..
it's interesting that only European (including UK obviously) models are effected by this fraudulent trick and their Asian and American models are real Panasonic.
at the moment only genuine TV brands in UK/Europe are Samsung,LG and Sony.
