In manufacturer refurbished condition with 12 months guarantee. My guess is they are either damaged box or customer returns. Can be collected in Argos or delivered free. Only 8 available.
Blurbs:
Strategy is everything. Defeat enemies to splatter them in an explosion of ink, covering more turf for your team. But choose wisely: Players who only go after the enemy might find their turf redecorated in their enemies' colours.
Covering more territory with ink unlocks powered-up super weapons that can be used to attack rivals or cover more turf. See where you've splattered—and what to cover next—on the Wii U GamePad controller's screen.
Transform into a squid to hide in your own ink, climb up walls, and move more quickly. Use ink blasters, ink bombs, ink rollers, and squid power to cover the most territory.
Customise your Inkling with different weapons and gear, complete with unique gameplay perks. Challenge players online* in chaotic 4-on-4 turf wars and unleash squid powers to ink your way to victory. May the best mess win.
Take on the evil octopus army in single-player mode, splatter octopi, solve ink puzzles and beat bosses!

This is a bonkers deal, its £199 on Amazon - brand new. Why risk a scuffed up wreck from Argos when you can buy brand new for £20 more. Some people are bonkers :man:

I'd be careful with Argos refurbished consoles.most are used;scratched, etc.
at this price buying brand new is much better decision.why risk it for only £20.

£20 cheaper is still better than nothing. I would be surprised if these are not new units themselves.

I wouldn't think twice about grabbing a manufacturer refurbished item from Argos. Plus that £20 saving, you can treat yourself to one of their Nintendo Selects range

Saw a pile of these the other week at Walsall outlet. Asked to have a look and those I saw looked used, some more than others. None were new.
I wouldn't but you pays your money, for an extra £20 brand new with no issues. Argos is well known for checking the basics are working, resetting it and reboxing.

But at least you can look at them in store and refuse there and then without having to arrange for a collection.

Seems a very modest and minor saving for refurbished. Neutral on this. I would have said a 20% saving compared to the RRP price would have been a good deal. But the nations oldest and favourite home console continues to command a hefty fee.

Exactly, with argos ebay its a complete lotto. not exactly "manufacturer Refurbished" plus the hustle of returning and any warranty is with them(argos ebay, not even Argos proper).
With amazon there won't be any hustles for returns/repairs plus you could also go through Nintendo direct if pushed.
Anyway for some people all that matters is saving £20  right now, lets not worry about tomorrow
