Good price, best price I can find for it but personally want the Microsoft Complete or equivalent care which Very don't offer.

Depends what you want though, doesn't it? The HP Spectre you've linked is a laptop, not a tablet. There's no touch screen. There's no pen support. It's a completely different category of device.
The Spectre x2 detachables are very nice but there's no free dock or interchangeable pen tips - important for artists or note-takers. After all, what is the point of shelling out for these devices if the pen isn't important?

As is the Surface Book which has the same problem as the Surface. OK so no changeable pen tips but so what unless you are one of the very few who are artists then the up to £200 cashback on old machine worth more. anyway I notice you didn't comment on the sleep of death issue . . .

Sleep of death? I have mine for around 6 months now and have no issue.
Still loving it. Admittedly a little higher spec model than the two listed in this post.

Amazing deal and the SoD issues are skylake processor issues, not just occurring in the Surface line, it's an Intel problem.

This doesn't effect most people and most people's problems were fixed by updates, if you're unlucky and suffer it you can just get a replacement surface through warranty

This is an issue with 6th Gen Intel chipsets, and incompatible apps disrupting S0 sleep state. It will be fixed but is not a fault of the hardware, and similar issues have appeared on other ultrabooks with 6th gen i5/i7 CPU's.
Had my Surface Pro 4 for nearly a month with no issues.
Opening post
