And you can double your vouchers with Clubcard Boost, if you have some. (Sorry, I noticed you already said that...)

Just started playing this.
I have no idea what is going on.
Everything about the game confuses.
Still, sticking with it.

Agreed. I couldn't get on with it and its weird Japanese sense of humour.

Paid £21 for this on 2 a.m. Sunday morning - arrived Monday lunchtime. Bit gutted it's less now but can't be TOO gutted as I got it for free using my Clubcard boost  Despite people trying to tell me that I was imagining things, I was really happy that even my £3 vouchers that I'd never used up before, when I clicked to use them, even those suddenly doubled to total £23 (I did the Click and Collect thing). Not entirely sure I give a toss that no one believes they doubled - it's obviously just an online only thing, crying for you if it didn't happen for you (possibly). It's probably because it's the final Clubcard boost ever.

I played the first one back in the day when it was new, and also got number two on release day. But haven't played any since. So, yep, I think I'm missing a good chunk of it story wise, which obviously doesn't help. But even so, like a lot of games from Japanese developers, particularly ones done in English...I don't feel like it is coherent to a Western audience. Whether that's the clunky dialogue, confusing themes, or more so in my case...just the way Japanese devs (and film makers) tell a story. It certainly isn't helped by one hell of a muddled interface with way too many things going on without enough guidance as to what you should be doing. The constant credits playing between 'episodes' also just irks me greatly.
As I say, I'm gonna stick with it, I'll probably plat it...but so far...I'm not enjoying it at all (just done episode 11).

I played every single including the old metal gear 1 & 2 and would say this is one of the worst story wise, gameplay is the best but would say mgs4 is my fav.

I played sons of liberty and really enjoyed it back in 2002. Maybe V isn't as good, too much freedom doesn't always work. Its hard to explain why but it hasn't gripped me like a good game does. It might be its muddled identity, its a serious stealth then other times a silly unrealistic stealth then a dark sci fi and then a realistic tactical shooter.

This a good price. Bad for me though, cos I was going to sell mine. Like those above, I couldn't get on with it. Bored me. And my god, that opening sequence in the hospital was dreadful. Must have got blown up 100 times... Yawn. Nearly binned it straight away.

both a disappointing sequel to MGS4 and an amazing sequel to Peace Walker.

Could someone explain to me about Clubcard Boost a bit? Basically a friend of mine has a £4 voucher which he won't use (didn't even know he had it). But it won't seem to let me redeem the voucher on my account? Do I have to add the card or something? Problematic as he cant find it

You have to use them on the account they were issued for. I also think there is a minimum spend of £10 before the vouchers double their value, i.e. you need to use £5 of vouchers.
