Wow, a bit of nostalgia for me. I didn't even realise they still made this stuff. Used it the one day we had a bath as a nipper. The other 6 days I smelt of coal.

pah, this was posh stuff, (ie I never got a splash of it) ...full of nasty chemicals too as I recall
Great price for a plain old bottle of suds with heavy marketing bumping up the price ..(as I taught my kid ..to avoid this sort of demand).

I got some for old times sake, the pirate one smells of watermelon which I love. Apparently the old matey back in the day contained some stuff that helped it clean the bath, but of course nowadays it will be formulated to be gentle and safe.

I remember having a bath with Mr Matey as a kid in in the 70s, lovely bloke who always took the tap end, salt of the earth.
