The real cost comes when you buy the park tickets

They aren't that expensive compared to what you'd pay for a day out in the UK.
It's £22 per adult per day to get into ANY of Disney World parks including Park hopper and transport.
It's £50 per adult per day for Alton Towers EXCLUDING the water park. (gate price)

Only if your buying the two week pass. It's around $96 each per day if you just wanted one day. Cost us just over £1200 for two adults, 15 year old and an 8 year old

You wouldn't buy a single days ticket if you were in Orlando though. I know individual days cost more but only a fool would pay £67 for a single day ticket.
£1200 for a family of 4 is £22 per person, per day. That's cheap.

If I could get this price in 3 years when my daughter is 5 and my son is 8 I'd be so happy.
Great price though.

this has been this price for a while throughout april -may
i was looking at it and the flight is great as you get baggage included for each person
but reviews on the hotel aint great and looks a bit scruffy, but you can mix the flight with other hotels, but was still looking at over 6 grand with park tickets and food and spends easy..if i was going to pay this i would choose a better hotel
then airport transfers £250 , car insurance another £500 and adding seats so you will be sat together on flight another £90
it then seems not such a good deal..

We have stayed in this hotel in all of our 7 trips since 2008 & love it!
It's in a great location for getting straight on the i4 to the parksv(or take the free shuttle buses to all parks as well as a local outlet) & has plenty of place to eat within walking distance.
Rooms are good basic clean rooms with 2 double beds & free WiFi.
We booked it solely on the bargain price the first year but went back because it was a bargain all around. Even when we got married over there our relatives stayed ina hotel triple the price & found ours far better than theirs.
But at the end of the day all you need is a bed as you should be out enjoying every hour you can in Orlando!

Not really a fair comparison. You can buy a merlin pass which will give you access to Alton towers plus lots of other places for £200. That makes Alton towers less than a pound per day.
Hot deal, it's a shame the kids are in school.

Presumably these prices didn't apply over the Easter school holiday period.
We are planning to go (with another family) Easter 2018 - which by our reckoning would be Mar 29th - April 13th and can't believe the prices would be this low then.

dont think so mate..why would they miss a chance to rip off a hard working family and charge them double :disappointed:

The free car hire is very misleading, you will need comp insurance so expect to pay an additional £250ish on top.

Yes they offer car hire and sting most tourists for the insurance. You can be a policy that covers you for much cheaper or just reject insurance and pay taxes and charges which will be about £80 (this is what I do)
