My phone provided by this company has once again stopped charging.

Last time my phone stopped charging i took my phone to the samsung shop who reset the phone and said it was a dodgy German phone.
I was without my phone for 10 days while they reset. They questioned where I bought phone and told me that after a hard reset it should never be reset to Forgein technology. It would only search German networks etc. They told me they would advise everybody who comes into the shop not to use mobilephonesdirect.

Since I explained this on phone to a member or staff they panicked and offered me a new phone which is once again not charging.

I am returning this phone to Samsung again with charging error.

If this happens again I will be taking legal action against the company.

FINAL WORD: SAMSUNG OFFICIAL ADVISE DO NOT USE THIS "DODGY" COMPANY"

Brilliant deal and very tempting, however I really need 4GB of data!
It seems Mobile Phones Direct don't offer any TalkMobile contracts with a phone, with 4GB of data, unless you do a SIM Only deal.
I wonder if this is a condition of them selling TalkMobile phone contracts, to ensure they don't step on the toes of parent company Vodafone and offer better deals than they do?!

Ordered one for mother in law on Friday. Latest update on order is they're awaiting on stock.

I've only had to deal with their CS once and did so via WebChat, my daughter had gone over her limits and I ended with an extra £50 on the bill, they reduced it to £24 which was very much appreciated and then assisted in setting an upper spend limit. This seems like a very good deal for the phone and the data.

I think you need to update your comment (or delete it). I clicked "Get Deal" and just scrolled down and it was immediately below in a big red "sale" box!

Biggest problem is this only 16gb and no memory card slot, so add some games and music and you will start struggling for space, apart from that I own the 32gb version and a totally awesome phone.

we never got £8.50 a month, but got £12.50 a month and paid £20 upfront. well thats what i gt and the flyer offered. not sure about ones that maybe tried to haggle :smiley:
