Great overall ‘new phone’ experience.

Good deal, costing no more than we are already paying. Phone arrived the next day and the transfer process from the old phone was straightforward. There was no further admin, policy updated with O2 without us having to do anything.We were updated frequently throughout the process by email. Thanks for a great service.

Efficient, Helpful and Friendly

I usually complete my orders online, but needed assistance, I called Mobile Phones Direct expecting to be in a queue, however, the phone was picked up within seconds. The customer advisor was very helpful and I was able to complete my order quickly over the phone.

I live in Northern Ireland, so expected to wait 3 days for delivery - I ordered my phone at 1.30pm on the Thursday and it was delivered on Friday morning.

I'm very pleased with the service received.

Everything was dealt with so quickly

If your phone gets stolen by the…

If your phone gets stolen by the courier don't expect MPD to be in a rush to help. Got to wait 14 working days for DPD to do their investigations even though my evidence is clear as day I never received my phone
MPD have lied to us multiple times on the phone saying that a manager would phone us back and look into getting us a replacement sent out asap but no. Hope you know MPD that all my calls are recorded too and I will now be taking this further as you've lied multiple times to fobb me off

Don’t order a mobile from this company

Don’t order a mobile from this company, ordered an iPhone used for two days then camera stopped working and torch light. Sent it back on the 15th April via recorded delivery, still hadn’t been contacted so called numerous times to be told warehouse still hadn't checked it. Still awaiting my exchanged phone to be sent out, only to be called on 2nd May to say there is damage on the back of the phone. There was no damaged done to the back of the phone before arriving at your testing warehouse, the phone was placed in the same protective packaging it came in when returned. This company has now taken my money and refusing to replace a faulty item. I have the photo of delivery where the phone was dumped on the floor in a pile.

Delivery and communication horrific

Phoned was due to be delivered but I rescheduled to the day after via DPD because wasn’t going to be in. Delivery wasn’t attempted the day after and they sent the phone back to the warehouse. It’s been over a week of calling Mobile Phones Direct who can’t tell me when the phone will be with me or if it has reached the warehouse. Such a nightmare, would have more peace of mind if they could tell something but direct debit set up, upfront £300 taken and no phone yet. Wouldn’t be surprised if this goes on and on

I’ve tried to contact you to discuss your experience with us and put things right, however I haven’t been able to reach you.

I am truly sorry to hear that this has happened. I have taken a look into this issue for you, and upon contacting DPD, it has been concluded that your package was returned to our warehouse by DPD due to human error. I can appreciate this was due to no fault of your own, and I can only apologise for the delay and inconvenience this has caused you. Fortunately, your handset has now been scanned into our warehouse, and therefore I have chased our team to ensure this is back out for delivery asap!
To ensure you are at no further loss due to this error, please ensure to let us know when you have been united with your handset and SIM, as we will calculate a full refund for all the time you have spent connected to O2 without your products.

Staff couldn’t be more helpful. The young woman took her , recognising me as something of a‘Luddite’ when it comes to IT stuff and guided me through the options, not pushing any higher cost alternatives. Great people to deal with. Well done!

'As new' - I think not

Ordered an 'as new' phone only to have the back glass peeling off. Had to buy a £30 Amazon replacement glass and install it myself as couldn't go without the phone because it would be with then for God knows how long
