Great Price for a decent spec laptop. Decent dedicated graphics, 16GB ram and 1080p display make this a winner for under £600! This price is for the black version only, the white is at full price of £799.99

Sadly a TN screen, I don't know why Lenovo insists on TN screens in mid to high spec laptops. Such a shame.

I think, here at least they could argue TN is better for gaming and this seems to be the idea of this machine.

It is a U series CPU - no competition for a proper M series CPU. Otherwise very good, but the mediocre CPU let's it down.

Totally disagree, that cpu is plenty powerful enough for any gaming and most other cpu intensive stuff. Plus in addition if the graphics are switchable it can enable you to save loads of battery and have a much quieter machine.
IT has passmark of about 4000 compared to 8000 you get for mobile HQ and QM "proper" ones which come with 4 actual cores so single core performance is about the same. I also really doubt many games make sensible use of this many threads so the benefit is really small.
I am a big fan of U cpus combined with great dedicated graphics, and I have been using i5 (4 th gen U) plus GTX960M and it works like a breeze and I can use it normally for non gaming purposes.
