Nicer looking laptop with aluminium keyboard surround, and an everyday processor. Its no rocket ship, but it does look a bit nicer than others at this price. This the G3 version released late last year, slightly smaller and slimmer than the previous G2. Access hatches for memory and hard drive.

It looks probable that a backlit keyboard an be fitted, part No.827029-031(non backlit is 827028-031), depends if the power connection is on the board.

Good deal. I just bought the 120gb ssd version of this laptop which was £506 on HP's website but they had a cash back and trade in offer which netted me £250 for my 10yr old Asus XP laptop :wink:
For the HP trade in, has anyone tried purchasing a new 9 inch tablet on Amazon (or other site) and use that as the trade in device? In other words does it technically have to be an old, used device or can it be a 'new' one too?

HP have tightened up and are not offfering both cashbacks. Last time I tried to get both I was refused one.

Top 10 business laptops, the 450 G3 is number 2, it is the same as the 455 with the exception of the processor/GPU.
