You probably ought to add 'Refurbished' in the title

and since "refurbished" is a weasely way of saying second hand, just call them 2nd hand

27 inches is a bit on the large size for only 1080p too. 1080p @ 27 inches is 81.59 Pixels Per Inch (PPI), which is less than the 1366x768 @ 15.6 inches (100.45 PPI) that people **** off every time a cheap laptop is posted.
Fine if you've got cataracts I guess.

Well I assume most people sit further back from a standalone monitor than they do on a laptop monitor. At best, they are equally rubbish

Good price, but wouldn't buy from the retailer due to poor service in the past.

Nah m8 its not 1366x768 sucks not because of PPI but rather the pixels you have to work with on your screen. Low res = less space for multiple windows.
Though, to add to your point 90 PPI is the lower limit as to what is acceptable unless your screen is doubling as a TV

Erm, that's basically the same thing really. 1080p isn't really that much better, and at this size the pixels are huge.

No problem with the resolution currently using a 27" Acer monitor which is only 1080p. For film and games when you sit back from it it's fine. On the Windows desktop it's not quite as lovely as a high DPI monitor but they are still very usable value devices.
But I'd sooner go for a cheaper Acer VA panel than this. I got mine for £120 which they show up on offers for pretty frequently, you can still get one now for £133 I think from ebuyer and that's brand new, lower response times so better for games, high brightness than this and is VESA mountable. VA vs IPS is contentious but there isn't much in it when looking at budget offerings.
