I survive perfectly with a 256gb SSD, I always have like 60gb free. You ever hear of the cloud m8?

Memory sticks most often use Flash Memory, an SSD obviously uses a Solid State Drive. Therefore, a 128GB SSD is not a memory stick. Yes, I know that an SSD is technically a type of flash memory, but you can't really compare them in that way.

you buy 500MB/s or faster SSD to use 5MB/s cloud? What's your upload speed? Probably another 10 times slower than 5MB/s

Just a heads up, if you want more storage, just use one of these things:
Cheap as chips on the fleebay and you probably have an old laptop hard drive lying around anyway (PS3's come with one), it replaces the CD drive but who uses one these days anyway?

Wouldn't use the old PS3 hard drive, not only will it be tiny but it'll be 4200rpm so unimaginably slow.

I thought the dabs website was cancer until BT acquired it and now there is visual diarrhoea on my screen when I click this deal.
The website interface is straight out of 2001.

BT boughts Dabs in 2006, the design hasn't really changed for a while has it? BT Shop was the same as Dabs website for many years as I recall.
I actually use my old 500GB PS3 hard drive in an old laptop of mine through a caddy similar to the one in the picture, and it runs fine. remember, your OS is still on an SSD, so the laptop still flies, and 90% of the programmes are still installed on the SSD, I only use the 500GB PS3 hard drive for storage, videos, photos and music, and that speed is perfectly fine for these type of files. I only have a 120gb SSD but if you're not gaming (who would be with intel graphics) then you barely even fill up the 120gb SSD.
Still think these are nicer, and have better/easier memory/hard drive access.

cpu: +63% power consumption for -20% performance, plus more heat
hdd: not ssd
only pros I can see is Win10 Pro licence instead of Win10 Home and the fact it's £13 less, but for an Intel cpu and ssd this deal is totally worth it imo

It's my original post but I'm open to alternatives Winchman. I totally agree on the case and access panels being nicer. The lack of an SSD isn't the end of the world but I wouldn't touch AMD with a barge pole. Are Technoworld reliable?

I would certainly agree with regard to AMD a few years ago but now are better value I think. As far as i know Technoworld are fine, I ordered from them couple of years ago. Its also available for £250 on the HP website, might be good if you can find a discount voucher.
