Was in Homebase East Kilbride today and picked up the Hozelock Wonder Weeder for £1. On the shelf was reduced from £3.93 to £1

My suggestion is to purchase one, then bash yourself over the head with it before you comment again. It might knock some sense into you before questioning such trivial things. You've been around on these forums long enough, get a grip.

£3.93 is a strange price, I suspect that was also a reduced price as even that is a 3rd of the price other retailers sell it for.

is there a need for the exclamation mark? is there an issue with people who can't bend using weed killer?

I was told by a home base employee that if something was priced with a 93p on the end it meant it was a discontinued product. Heat anyway

nothing to do with grammar :disappointed: just a question on what the poster was commenting on.
For those who can't bend to apply weed killer! is this a problem for the Op, that they cannot bend, or are they trying to be nice and explain what the product is for. If they are explaining then no need for the exclamation mark, if they are complaining about the need for a product where the person can't bend then that really isn't the way they should be posting. This is a useful product if you have limited mobility but really no need for an exclamation mark in that case.
