Is anybody else dismayed by the lack of innovation in home phones? Why is bluetooth not standard? Why do most phones still crash/suffer with some sort of issues? Why are screens and keys so tiny? I bought a £100+ bluetooth home phone set rated by Which? as one of the best on the market and it was continually crashing. This might be good value for money considering the market, but the technology is archaic stuff!

i agree! would love to have a cheap but ok quality android dect phone but the choice is far and few, expensive and poor quality. How come we can buy a decent smartphone from the likes of Huwawei for around £50 but not a dect phone :-(

Are you sure, I can only find the trio for that price in a refurbished state, brand new seems to be £99.99. - please post any links that can help users with alternatives to buying from Amazon if you can find the same price elsewhere. Thanks

I agree, archaic tech, but good deal. BT did a unit which you could insert your mobile sim to copy your address book from, but dreadful reliability. Big gap in the market here, or perhaps they cant be bothered because who uses a home phone any more other than for emergencies, or to have your line for internet.

I understand your point but I'm wondering if there's enough demand for it. I've seen several attempts at pushing the technology on with home phones but all seem to fail miserably, they may well be executed poorly but I suspect the people using home phones (generally speaking) just want the basics (technology speaking).

Are there any phones (other than the BT ones) that have the equivalent of call guardian. I had one and the sound was awful. Pity this just has a simple call block, otherwise I would have jumped. Great deal. Heat added.
