Excellent blue tooth speaker. Plenty in Oxford branch.
Bluetooth connectivity and punchy sound all wrapped up in a stylish and tough metal casing - the Rockbox Raw makes a rugged music companion.
Passive bass woofer
With stereo speakers and a 2 x 5W amp, the Rockbox Raw provides a sound that's more spacious and detailed than you might expect, while thanks to a passive bass unit, it's also surprisingly punchy for such a small unit. Just because it's small you don't have to sacrifice sound quality. Link to your smartphone and you'll have al the music of the internet at your fingertips.
Bluetooth connectivity
Bluetooth connectivity means there are very few digital sources that won't connect. Pretty much any smartphone or tablet, plus many laptops and PCs are all options. Pairing devices is easy, and once paired you get Bluetooth wireless sound over a range of up to 10m. Add more speakers and your music will be everywhere you are in your home. For non-Bluetooth devices a 3.5mm input is fitted, letting you connect up MP3 players or any other source with a headphone output.
Rechargeable battery
Connect up to your Mac, laptop or notebook via the supplied USB cable and the Raw will be fully charged in three hours. Once charged, it's good for up to 10 hours of playback, making it ideal for the garden, picnics or camping trips. Listen to stored music or streaming services such as Spotify via apps on your smartphone for a near unlimited supply of music wherever you are.
Hands-free calls
Another benefit of Bluetooth connectivity with your smartphone is the option of hands free phone calls. A built-in microphone, lets you take calls hands-free, making this Bluetooth speaker ideal for the kitchen or workshop when you don't want to have to touch your phone with messy hands.
Stylish metal casing
With its honeycomb metal grille, the Rockbox Raw is more than simply stylish, it's tough, too. The metal housing gives the speaker a pleasing feel and also protects it from knocks and bumps when out and about.
For a portable speaker that's tough without sounding rough, the Rockbox Raw more than makes the draw.

The link is showing £39 now. What's the quality like guys and how is the real world battery life like - what are you getting out of a charge?

Sound is amazing and the battery lasted over 8hrs on full volume. Amazing quality. Tesco has a similar one for £80. But not heard of their brand.

Even at £40 I think it's a good deal. But good to wait and see if they reduce it again.

I've set this to expire, but if it comes down again, be sure to post it and I might have a look - I've a £20 voucher for Richer Sounds that I need to use up

took it camping last weekend and had it on about 8 hours and was still going. Sound is really good for the price, sounded better in the shop but think I just need to let it run in some more  for £30 you really cannot go wrong, even at £40 is good

8hrs not bad mine was still going at work for over 9hrs. Maybe the 10hrs is possible at a medium volume.
