Excuse my ignorance but how is this a deal? a lot of places offer free delivery as standard so why is spending £10 to get it classed as a deal?

Erm.... because you would normally have to pay for standard delivery at Halfords on orders between £10 and £30 and for the next 2 weeks you don't; and it's FREE.
It's £3 saved; that normally wouldn't be saved and thus it is a deal.
Most people factor delivery charges into the cost of their items when working out if its worth buying something online don't they?

I don't factor in delivery charges as I use the places that offer free delivery. If big companies can't offer me free delivery then I shop elsewhere. I would have voted hot if it was free delivery on everything but I just don't see this as deal. Sorry.

Forgive me but that seems daft.... surely it makes more sense just to work out the final delivered cost of the item.
If an item is £12 with this offer (and postage normally would have been £2.99 on top of that making it £14.99)
you wouldn't pay more than £12 elsewhere just because they have free delivery as an everyday standard would you?

If it was over £12 but under £14.99 I would yes. It must just be my thing but I don't see paying delivery to big companies a deal when smaller companies can do it for free. I just think this would of been a deal with free delivery on everything for the month.
Theyve had jelly bean airfreshners reduced to £1 and ive wanted to buy some but didnt want to pay £2.99 delivery, but now i have free delivery if i spend £10 ( which was my intention) !! therefore it is a deal! 10 jellybean air fresheners for £10 with no p+p, bargain if u ask me!

Would you of bought 5 though if the minimum spend was £5 or did you have your heart set on 10 jellybean air fresheners?

Hopefully I'm getting my new car this week so I might need a few things from Halfords to make it feel like mine

A thread was actually posted on this subject the other day.
