What is it? The truly sweet cherry tomato is one of gardening's holy grails. 'Gardener's Delight' used to be the variety of choice, but if that hasn't delivered for you, try 'Sweet Aperitif'. This new variety promises high yields of bite-sized fruits from July to September, offering "a sweet taste with a refreshing tang".

Love cherry toms! But don't know a lot about gardening, can I grow these on a windowsill or do they need to be outdoors? Don't have a greenhouse

Hi yes you can so easy to maintain. Just buy a little tomato feed and plant in a decent compost mix. I grow mine in compost grow bags against the back of my garage. The yield is great. Just support the branches when the fruit is growing. Massive difference between home grown and mass produced. The taste is amazing. I only grow herbs, toms, strawberrys, peppers and chillies in baskets pots and grow bags. They need very little maintenance.

You can grow on a windowsill but will do better outdoors without a greenhouse if you can a sunny spot. Will need a decent pot of soil and plenty of water

You can also grow these in a hanging basket as I do . Just let them get on with growing no need to stake or pinch out side shoots doing it this way .

Always find these plants are a month behind in size at least. The ones in our cloche are already a foot tall with the first truss of flowers starting to open. These may arrive in a couple of weeks and be about 2 inches tall.
Anyway when I checked the price it said £3.20 + p&p =£8.15.....confused.
