They do work on 10, some people don't know how to update GFWL however. Also it's on steam, so refund if you can't make it work. You can look on the steam forums if you need help getting it working.

I couldn't get it to run on Win 7 64 either. And yes, I did all the horrible GFWL updates. Didn't help. And it was definitely the patched (v1.1) version. From what I was finding, the fixes were very hit and miss. Think I read that the Steam version is the v1.0 unpatched version? Which may cause problems...

I tried all the patches on the steam versions and the GFWL updates on Windows 7 64 and Windows 10 64 and couldn't get any to run at all..

Have you tried the compatibility modes?
(Windows XP sp3 for example.)
I'd be surprised if it doesn't work on Win7.

Strange
I open Steam, click on run game, a menu pops up with lots of settings, I select my resolution 1080p and BAM - Works perfectly
I'm running Windows 10 - 64 bit
Launch from STEAM.

Cracking games, everybody should snap up Flatout, FO2 and FO Ultimate.
BUT!!!!!
Steer clear of Flatout 3, it is not a flatout game in any way, it is a horrible shovelware game with the Flatout franchise name stuck onto it, keep clear at all costs, if they paid you the £4.99 to play this game you would still feel robbed. lol
So go and enjoy the actual other three true Flatout games, a steal at those prices.

I use to test those games as a games tester. Very enjoyable games, trust me! Specially with pals. Heat!

Love Flatout 2. Me and my friends hammered it on the Xbox 360. I'd love to see a new version on the new consoles and Blur. We also hammered Blur. great fun online.

I tried EVERYTHING with mine.
Patches. GFWL. Admin rights. Compatibility mode. Different DX runtime. The works.
I never even got a splash screen or an error message (or any sort of running process) out of it. Just.... Nothing. Which is a bummer. Meant to be great fun with a wheel. (which was why I tried it)

That's really strange
I saw this on a another thread
Right click on the game, properties set local set up
Type in. -setup
Run the game
Or worth a shot. Delete everything and re download it and install it.

I tried that too. It did work on Windows 7 64bit for me for years, then a steam update or something else arrived and it never worked again. I tried re-installing numerous times, but I too didn't manage to reach the settings screen.
