The 9 litre oil drain will come in handy for all diesel cars fitted with dpf that uses diesel to raise the exhaust temperature to clean the dpf. When my Mazda 6 requires an oil change I can easily get 7 litres out the sump. It only takes 4.1 litres of fresh oil!! It seems to work though and hopefully that diesel mixed with the oil keeps the engine nice and clean.

Your injector seals are likely deteriorated leaking diesel into the bores. Say hello to carbon build up.
For non mechanics please explain...your reaction is making me laugh and now I really want to know

Well I'm no mechanic but I know you shouldn't mix diesel into the oil

In the worst case some fuel may leak down the piston if there is something wrong with his car. Im talking a tiny bit of fuel.
He has stated THREE liters of fluid leaves his sump that isn't the oil.
Also all that fuel in those hot temperatures outside the cylinder? Would make a good unexpected fire trick. Far from keeping the engine nice and clean
