People who need all that fly with BA, Virgin, etc. This is a budget airline for people who just want to get there as cheaply as possible and are happy to accept the seats they're allocated on check-in, take sandwiches or takeaway food on board, and travel light.
I've done Florida with 10kg carry on, may not suit everybody but it is quite do-able.

Just marry someone who works for BA or Virgin, so much cheaper, club class or better. Only downside is that you need to spend the rest of your current life with them. ( when my future father in law heard i was to marry his daughter, he promised me a cow and some land, i am still waiting for the land. )

If you want to save a few quid and have time to spare - look at flying from OSL/ARN/CPH to LAS and then back to LGW. Use Easyjet /Ryanair to get to OSL/ARN/CPH. Also if you book on the Norwegian version of the site, you get charged in NOK and it's cheaper than GBP. Was looking earlier today and you could do LTN-CPH(ryanair) CPH-LAS-LGW in January for about 215GBP plus bags!

Hey tighty, you can use Dream World Travel, they have huge options of availability and most importantly they are very cheap flights.

It gets surprisingly cold in the evening there at that time of year, take a jumper! Good deal though, heat added.

headline price doesnt include luggage, meals or seat reservations.
Even if you can do without resrevations a meal would be good on a 10 hour flight and no way would I go to Vegas for a week or so with just hand luggage,
realistic price is £400 and a bit, still good but not £300
