Is it true that you can't go online due to hackers? Or have they fixed that now?

I've never had an issue online. Whilst the game is set up for co-op, it's entirely feasible to play the entire game umpteen times over single player. The only time i felt i needed co-op was on higher level rifts. The actual campaign is easy and single player friendly. I may be wrong in saying this, so someone can feel free to correct me, but I think the only positive co-op has over SP is there's more chance of legendary loot drops. Legendary drops still appear regularly when you're on your own though. I managed to kit out all the classes no problem just playing SP.

I have this on PC, but can't help thinking the experience will be even more fun using a control pad (blizzard didn't support that as an option on the PC version)
