But that's a downloaded copy that has no physical value
1,2 or even 5 years along the line surely a physical copy of any game would still resell for a quid

Buying the Humble version, you also get access to the remastered version of Dead Island Riptide for £1.80 on Steam, which somewhat trumps that.

yeah the humble has a lot of content for a couple of pound on the mid tier. personally I'd want a digital copy, all my old PS3 games are just stored away now! always end up just giving old console stuff away eventually

Haven't played this one, played the first one. It was very buggy but relatively enjoyable
