The listing is for the wrong model - they say in the description it supports all LTE bands but then lists them as - LTE700 (B17), LTE850 (B5), LTE1700/2100 (B4), LTE1900 (B2) - UK Bands are 800 1800 and 2600 so it doesn't support any of them.

Just to mention, this isn't the standard European version, N9005 it's a US variant the N900A. How much difference that makes with regards warranty etc I don't know.
I have a N9005 and it's a cracking phone - picked it up off ebay for a little over £150 last summer but due to a bit of a balls-up I've just got a used N910F (Note 4) for £165 so I'm gonna have a play and see how it compares and which one I'll sell.
Do yourself a favour and avoid the "genuine" Samsung batteries that you see advertised and go for something like Anker (though you dont get NFC) and, if you can find one, buy the Samsung external charger. Tech21 make awesome cases for them but they're really hard to find - I bought mine out in the states and the phone's still great after a couple of drops.

Yes, I bought a US Nexus 5 a few years ago. It worked here fine but only on the 3G networks. Make sure you understand the risks and do your homework before pulling the trigger.

Check sellers feedback.
But price is really good for a NEW one (IF you get a new one)

I cannot find the LTE bands for the N900A variant, but I would not be certain it will have the correct bands as US LTE bands are different to UK.
Scrap that. Don't buy it.

And also remember that Samsung have completely stopped supporting the Note 3 (not that this is new .... that was clear long ago) so it's stuck on a terrible Lollipop build. If you get one with KitKat, I would stay with that. Or root it and put Marshmallow on it (although not sure if all the pen functionality hold up if you go down this route).
And if these are network branded US variants, some of them can be a pig to alter the firmware. One of the S5 US branded ones was like that. Changing the firmware on it was nigh on impossible. It was pretty much hobbled out of the box. Not sure if that applies to any of the US Note models.
I have a feeling the S5 in question was an AT&T branded one.
I would avoid these Notes like the plague. Open to WAY too many problems ....

good phone. I gave the Mrs my note 4 as she wanted a white phone and I bought a 2nd hand red note 3
only differences to note are battery life is vastly different and the camera is better on the 4
apart from that just left button and software changes.
I'd only swap to a 4 for the battery
