Cheapest I've seen for a while. Also at the same price is BOSE® SOUNDLINK MINI II CARBON/PEARL

Everyone has neighbours, & everyone is entitled to peace & quiet, even if its a din from afar.

I've got one of these & I love it.
I mainly brought it to use as a Bluetooth speaker, but I've found I use it more as a substitute "radio" (several Irish stations saved to the presets).
Sound quality is pretty good (hi-fi snobs will always say otherwise about boss), & it will Gill an average room quite nicely.
As long as you don't need it to be battery powered, go for this one.

Not only Mini 2, I have the Mini and it have been in Bose workshop for 3 times now!!! The battery can't hold charged, they changed battery, then change circuit board and thrid time changes both! Why can't they just give me a brand new one instead....

The main difference between the 10 and the mini is the 10 is mono and the mini is stereo. I have both and they both produce a lot of bass and are crisp sounding. Either is a good choice unless you want multiples then ST10 all the way..
Does the 10 have better output/quality compared to the mini?

Mini II has some reliability issues with the battery, but it is otherwise great.
The 10 is a little bigger but does require mains power.
I guess it depends on whether you value portability. If you do, then I'd go for the Mini.

How right you are. Anyone playing loud music in 'The Garden' is selfish. USE HEADPHONES.

Great speaker...though the WiFi can be a bit flaky at times. I use it for the kitchen....probably need something larger to get reasonable quality in the garden.

if u want great garden sounds u need to get soundtouch 20. It is double the price but the sound is out of this world.

For the size of this speaker the sound quality is pretty good. Bose don't mention the specs specially the output on any of their speakers. There are plenty of positive reviews on Amazon with a few negative.

I can't make up my mind between the soundtouch 10 or the soundlink mini II. I know SLM2 is portable and has a chargeable battery. Is there much difference in the sound quality and output between the 2?
