Freeze the bottle first then pour hot water over bottle. Squeeze lemon juice over the outside bottle and lick. Open the bottle and serve in a wine glass

Stick an orange in it - just like Stephen Milligan.

Not sure what other people think, but I'd stick an orange in with it

It's meant to be served with an orange. Coriander is also used in the brew, along with orange.

Don't rate Blue Moon at all, very little taste to it. Not sure how it is Belgian when they make it in the states as far as I know. Heat added for the price though.

Their website offers this explanation:
It started with our brewmaster, Keith Villa, wanting to craft a beer inspired by the flavorful Belgian Wits he enjoyed while studying brewing in Belgium. He brewed his interpretation using Valencia orange peel versus the traditional tart Curaçao orange peel, for a subtle sweetness, and added a touch of coriander to provide balance. Then he added oats and wheat to create a smooth, creamy finish that’s inviting to the palate. As a final touch, he garnished the beer with an orange slice to heighten the citrus aroma and taste. Its natural unfiltered appearance adds to the depth of flavors in Belgian White*.

They'd have been better calling it an American White beer. There are many Belgian white beers I've tasted and they're not all the same. It's not strong enough to stand on its own without a big wack of orange in it but each to their own. Thanks for the explanation though.

Very timely deal for those Man City fans looking to drown their sorrows after giving it up to Real Madrid easier than a Gt Yarmouth lass after happy hour.

Cold, for some arbitrary reason that I haven't decided yet.
Actually, 48p, super hot even if it is a weird thing that needs an orange and needs to be chilled so that you can't taste it.

Put it in the oven, pour gravy over the bottle, freeze it for 2 hours 23 minutes, smash the bottle open on your worktop, lick the gravy and frozen beer, eat an orange
Beautiful

Now owned and brewed by Heineken.
Regardless, it's always been rank.
Hoegaarden lite.

Isn't it owned by Molson Coors ? As still listed as one of theres.
They have just had a big rebrand so could be clearing out the old bottles for new design.
Also Shocktop is a nicer beer imo but again its not a craft beer just a cleverly marketed product by Anheuser-Busch

Yeah could be. Point being once Indy now gobbled up by Inbev/Molson/Heineken etc.
Just like Lagunitas :disappointed:

It's owned/brewed by Molson Coors, look at the back of the bottle.
An acquired taste, but definitely a touch nicer on tap. People vote cold for all sorts of reasons - most of which are utter nonsense, but there you go.
Opening post
