These are on clearance at Sainsbury's in Crayford. Original price of £35 now down to £20. I know there are better speakers out there with better sound quality, but for £20, it's worth a try.

I'd be gutted if I'd payed full price, which is what - £50?
That whole range is usually reduced. I almost bought one last time but I couldn't make up my mind which one to get after reading the specs and comparing.

I hate seeing the once proud Blaupunkt name used for badge engineering on generic cheap Chinese electronics. :disappointed:
If they believe in their products, why don't they just put a Sainsbury's logo on it, a brand people associate with decent quality? That would be more honest than using the badge of a company that went bust.

There's nothing particularly dishonest about it. Richer Sounds do the same with many brand names.

OB1 it's not Sainsbury that own the Blaupunkt name nor have they manufactured this product. They're just selling it. Anyway wouldn't sticking the 'trusted' Sainsbury logo on it just be another form of deception?

I got one of these last year, took it back, they have very poor quality sound and range. no point buying cheap rubbish which blaupunkt now is.

i have been tempted a couple of time with unbelievable cheap blaupunkt prices, one for a dab radio the other for this Bluetooth, both were rubbish and went back, thank goodness for Saintsbury's returns policy. I ended up with a aldi floral design dab (looks like a Roberts) which was half price £17.50 it has been great.
