Browsing for some good low cost long haul flight destinations and came across this one to Hong Kong with 5 star Qatar Airways. I have been personally and can thoroughly recommend, I paid £530 when I visited and I thought that was a bargain at the time!
The dates I searched to come up with this price is the 18th Oct - 25th Oct. There are lots of other date options in October and November. 7th to 14th November for example.
Loads of flight agents in and around this price if you prefer to book with a more established company.

It was around 4 years ago and was part of a multi city trip to Cambodia at the time just a return trip to Cambodia was around £700 so not too bad a deal

Birmingham happens to be one of the most convenient airports due to its central location. I always end up with a trek down to London for the cheapest flights normally.

Great fare, and at least both legs are in the 9 abreast 787, which is not quite as bad as the 10 abreast 777. Almost tempted ......
