Bought one over a year ago as I got fed up with not being able to drill lintels. Last week I had use it for the first time to drill into concrete fence posts as nothing else was making a mark. Hot knife through butter springs to mind

I'm a big bosch fan & have bought them for decades but would recommend for the price this at screwfix. I found it much better value & more flexible & better specs. They also sell the same drill but less bits with it for a tenner less which puts it price wise similar to the bosch one but the extra bits in the kit I've linked to swing it for me.
1500w too. Like a laser through butter.

Ive just read the one star reviews on Amazon for this. I am not an DIY expert but two people only gave it one star because it doesnt take normal drill bits. Everyone elsr gives it five stars. i am in a state of disbelief.

Yeah, it's a bit of a big beast, which isn't ideal if you're doing overhead work all day, but comes in handy when drilling, chiselling or channeling downwards with gravity as your friend. Let the weight do the work. Puts a bit of muscle on ya as an added bonus.
