Nice! Heat. Only just looked into this recently and was under the impression it was a multiplayer game only, but was surprised to see it has a story mode too, so really hoping it's similar to a campaign I'd expect to see in Borderlands here.
It's also cheaper to buy this and the season pass seperately than the deluxe edition.

I had a few games in Beta. It looks like it'll have PvP modes similar to Overwatch, but also 'raid' type modes similar to MMO shooters like Destiny, and a moba-type mode too, with creeps and lanes to push in etc.
I was pretty impressed tbh, quite a lot to this game.

Played beta, it's campaign will be free with the additions added over time, bought this on ps4 with a couple of mates choosing to (no pc's) Paying full wack ouch. The campaigns are short missions but they also help level your character up and adds to your multiplayer/in game currency. There is no micro transactions either and all dlc will be straight forward.

The story mode is multiplayer too, but it's co-operative.

Yes as mentioned above you can buy this version and buy the season pass cheaper than the delux edition if you are looking into the DLC's that will be coming out in the future. Also thankyou to everyone that has made this post what it is. I just made a new account to share it around.

HOT!
For that price, the game is a steal. Tons of gameplay here.
The story mode feels a bit like Borderlands but in small chunks. More of the same kind of comedy too.
Also there doesn't seem to be any micro transactions, which is a good thing.
Gonna be playing this game for a long time to come I think!

Beta and alpha were fun, bought the game today and waiting for the download to finish, it's a cross between borderlands/destiny & a dash of team fortress
This game has been advertised horribly, I'd heard nothing about it until about 2 weeks before release, making me think it would be a load of crap. The box artwork isn't particularly appealing and looks "cheap" if that makes any sense, and I honestly had no idea this wasn't multiplayer only until I read this thread! Actually fancy giving this game a go now, especially after this comment " it's a cross between borderlands/destiny & a dash of team fortress".
With too many games constantly coming out I need them forced down my throat with a good advertising campaign to know they exist haha (pretty sure that's the only reason I bought the division)

Weird, I haven't been able to not read about this game for the last week or so. Saying that, some gaming sites have failed to report on it due to Overwatch taking precedence over Battleborn.
I agree with you on the boxart though. But if its the cartoony style that you don't like, I wouldn't buy the game!
The main feature of the game is definitely the multiplayer aspect but the story mode is hours of fun, especially if you can play with mates.

I loved this during the beta, the story missions do indeed feel like raids (though they seemed fairly easy to me?) and the competitive side has quite a lot of depth to it - characters have a talent system similar to Heroes of the Storm which allows you to customize them a bit during a match. There is also a simple ARPG-style loot system called 'Gear' which give passive buffs, the rarer gear costs you more to activate in a match so you don't necessarily put yourself at a disadvantage by not having the best gear.
There were two competitive modes in the beta: Incursion plays like a traditional MOBA albeit with only one lane, the other was called Meltdown and felt similar to Monday Night Combat.
I'm waiting til the 10th so that I've had a chance to try Overwatch first (open beta 5th-9th) but I'll almost certainly be purchasing - heat added!

I played the demo (most certainly wasn't a beta. Two weeks before release?) and wasn't too impressed with it. Will wait to see what Overwatch has to offer before picking one of them. Hopefully by then, we'll see some movement on the console version. Not sinking close to £40 on the game from what i played of it.

Never seen so many detailed positive comments about a game. It's a little hard to believe especially on a place like HUKD

The user scores posted on metacritic are highly suspect, not impressed by the beta and expecting the price to plummet. Overwatch looks a little thin and far from perfect but it should have fantastic post-release support and seems like a safe bet. Already pre-ordered as I suspect it will hold its price for a while and possibly increase over the next week or so.

So many reviews talking up the game and 90% of reviews are positive even though most people in forums who've played the beta said it wasn't great. Suspicious to say the least.

Hi the original submitted deal title was "Battleborn PC + DLC |20.99| @ CDKeys.com" (now reinstated).
As the price has now gone up to £22.99 then the original deal has expired, please don't edit the title to the new higher price as the votes reflect the original deal price, thanks
