Methylated Spirits are traditionally used for camping stoves, fondues, glass cleaning and other general household duties.
B&Q sell their own branded product for £3.87
Wilkinsons sell a similar product for £2.99-£3.50
The cheapest I have seen methylated spirits sold recently is B&M who charge £1.99 for a 500ml bottle.
So the product with a recognised label at just 99p seems an absolute bargain.

I wondered what the long queue of dishevelled people was for this morning outside Home Bargains.

Absolute bargain. Ideal for using in punch bowls as no one will ever know.

I forgot to add, it also makes an excellent thinner for French Polish which is what I use it for.

folks it is better to strain this stuff through bread to get that nasty purple dye out before drinking. also remember not to try to blow out a candle after drinking a bottle of this stuff!

Or in a gentrified part of London, 'freshly baked artisanal baguette with a reduction of ethically sourced denatured alcohol, our Mojo Philtre will delight your very senses'

You certainly won't have any teeth problems after drinking this. You also won't have any teeth...
