B&Q Rochdale is closing down. This is a genuine store closure and they are offering everything on sale with up to 25% off at the moment. Sure that discounts will increase in future days / weeks.

Don't think much DIY gets done in Rochdale - that would be best guess

Cheaper than normal. In the last few weeks it will be mostly junk anyway. The Derry B&Q had loads of stuff left when it was closing a few months ago, probably moved any remaining stock to another store.

The locals around here have gone as far as 80% off but there's not a lot left now. At 70% the traders started stripping shelves.

Pembroke Dock has been closing for 2 months now, shuts at the end of this month, the discounts are pathetic.. your talking 10% on most things and then its still more than elsewhere.
Our B&Q is going to become a B&M.

Some stores just aren't profitable on a per sq foot basis. Especially compared to the likes of screw fix (same group) and toolstation

Tonbridge closed earlier in the year and the discounts were worse than their sales. Best thing I picked up was a discount voucher for another B&Q that is staying open.
