Looks like a good price for this, especially if you get the cashback on top. A couple of other places offering it for a similar price, but as far as i can see, delivery on top ruins it by about £20 or so.
Reviews look very good as well, so all in all not bad at all if you're after a new machine.
Delivery is showing as Next day for me just now with "FREE" so worth hopping on that if you can. Other dates available for free del too though
Laundry days are made easier and more economical with this AEG washer dryer. Using Optisense technology, every wash or drying cycle is tailored perfectly to the load. Intelligent sensors calculate the right amount of water and energy needed for brilliant results, saving you money on your utility bills. Featuring a special DualSense drum, this model is so gentle on fabrics that you can even wash delicate items, including woollens, with no fear of them snagging. And the handy steam dry programme is ideal for refreshing clothes and reducing wrinkling.

As the formerly proud owner of AEG appliances, whatever the price, I now wouldn't touch one again with stolen money.
If it stays working, like any appliance - great. My last drier was good for over 6 years, unfortunately this one isn't so good, and if it stops working you have to endure the torment of "Serviceforce," The AEG set-up repairs "service," and I use the description of service very reluctantly. It depends on the individual companies which constitute Serviceforce. They claim a lot, but carry out very little, it has taken more than 6 weeks so far and it is still not fixed, an "appointment" is still more than a week away, but as there have been many no-shows, I doubt it will actually happen - so far only one part replaced (they carry no spares at all, so it has to be ordered and that's very hit and miss), but it's still bust. The "engineer" from Eastern Europe had little English, but far less knowledge of what the fault code meant, other than what I told him from an Internet search!
AEG do not care one little bit. John Lewis the retailer cares the same amount. (What has happened to John Lewis, the wheel really has come off their wagon.)
Pledges and on-line claims are made, stuff like same day service, and 3 hour time-slots, it's all fantasy it doesn't happen, it is a scam.
The same set-up is used for Electrolux and Zanussi too, so you will get this service with them too.
Buy at your peril, I thought it was a quality brand (and I was buying from a quality retailer).

Hot from me. Can't speak for the service (I have a 5 year warranty which I've never needed to use) but have had my AEG Lavamat washer/dryer for a few years now and am consistently pleased with it's performance. It is whisper quiet so much of the time that I think it's finished when it hasn't!! As a machine, I'd thoroughly recommend it, especially at this price.

Ours is over 6 years (I think). Only complaint was that the dimensions was wrong on their web site years ago, having a galley kitchen, I had to cut the kitchen door jam off to get it in :disappointed:
Spec looks the same from first glance although display is updated.

Electrolux bought both AEG and the bankrupt Zanussi in the 1990's, and, ServiceForce, Electrolux's UK servicing operation, took on the servicing of both AEG and Zanussi shortly afterwards.

Got an AEG recently, the L75670WD, for £500~. Overall good, but really bad knocking noises. Far worse than the crappy washer it replaced. Seems the weight distributing function is pretty poor. Had a guy from AEG come look at it and said it was working as expected.. :disappointed:

That's precisely what I would expect from them, unless it explodes into fragments and burns the house down, you are stuck with it the way it is. Even then you are likely to get blamed......... for putting clothes in it.

Wholeheartedly agree with you, again based on experience of the AEG brand over many years. What used to be a quality brand - very much on a par with Bosch and Siemens - is now more on a level with Beko.
The name AEG still suggests quality and commands a highish price. Believe me, it isn't quality, and it isn't worth anything more than a base-level Beko-style price.

I am far from the only one to experience this sort of problem:

and lots more.
Good service is all in the past.
