Tesco on other hand are selling the same tablet for 49.99 reduced from 69.99 in stores nationwide and online (no discount coupon needed) picked myself one up yesterday and must say there not bad little tabs

Hipstreet tablets have HDMI ports, they're 59.99 and tesco sells this as well.
Also this tablet is easily root able just rooted mine using app from net directly on tablet.

Yeah, that's the advantage of the Acer, but you can install google Play on the Fire 7. I was just wondering which was the best tablet, irrespective of the OS?

Again I still think acer, longer standing on the global market also though the fire 7 is 39.99 in tesco stores how does that translate to build quality, are you likely to get less pixel density / screen resolution personally I think I chose brand over price as I had been hit by cheaper alternatives before...

Got my tablet yesterday. It didn't come with the EZ Wake Up app for double touch to wake and I can't find it on Play store. Does this model actually support it?

Most high street tablets don't have hdmi ports!!! No point buying the cable if you don't have the port haha
