No, we have one at work and had to buy an adaptor for it.

Looking at the back it doesn't seem like it. If only it was 27" but nevertheless good price for the resolution and being an IPS panel.

Nice screen, only things that put me off it were its silver and the stand is a bit shaky, good price though.

Bought 2 of these for my work system. Not much adjustment on the stand but the text is very clear and the monitor stand and frame is metal.
One of the screens had 2 dead pixels, and the other one had none. Other than that they are really good ips 1440p panels, the same as used in the Dell U2515H.
No buzzing or any annoying sounds, but the monitor does take a while to switch resolutions and switch on, could be annoying for alt tabbing out of full screen applications that run at a different resolution/refresh rate..
Can't say I would game on these, I prefer 144Hz for that. If you had to buy a cheap gaming monitor, you could do a lot worse though.

1440p screen for less than £200  Great find
What's the refresh rate on this? Can't seem to find it.

144hz is great for gaming no doubt but I don't think I could ever go back to a TN panel for colours, I have the Dell monitor you mention and games look beautiful on it at 1440p, especially the Division. In a perfect world I would have a 144 IPS monitor but IMO I don't game enough to make it, id say my usage is 50% photo editing 50% gaming.

I have two of these (u2515h) and can't judge as to whether they're worth the extra as I've never tried the acer posted. They are really good monitors though, tonnes of inputs along with usb outputs as well. No faults at all on either of mine since I've had them as well.
If you shop around they sometimes come up for about £220. Amazon warehouse has some here and there as well.

Please give my sympathies to the person who has to use the one with dead pixels.

Very hard to notice 1 or 2 dead pixels at such huge resolution

Once you know they are there you notice them :disappointed:.

Exactly.
QHD really isn't huge either.
I'm currently locking horns with Dell over pixel defects on a 5K panel!
Any pixel defects are unacceptable imo.

I agree and the premium you pay Dell you expect them to give a good level of service. About 8 years ago maybe I had a Samsung monitor that was about a month away from being 3 years old when a number of dead pixels appeared in one of the corners. I rand them up and they replaced it by 24hr courier, I think their policy has since changed which is a pity. Most companies now say a certain percentage is allowable, which IMO is BS.

Dell have a good guarantee where they'll exchange it if there's any 'bright' pixels but in my experience I've found they swap em out if there's several dead or dust under the screen.
Although I am now fed up of Dell and can't recommend them at all as their quality control is appalling.
I think I'm on my 5th or 6th 5K Monitor now as every single one has either dead pixels or dust/debris under the screen.
As long as they ship me out crap they'll keep getting them back.

When you get a good one though they are a lovely monitor, no cheap feeling plastics or wobbly stands.

Absolutely. The stand and guarantee is what kept me coming back to them but really had enough now and will probably sell it on to fund a gaming oriented replacement.
